Pink is popular right now and Shaw Builder + Multifamily has all the pink flooring styles for your new dream home designs. Here are three of my favorite ways to incorporate the pink trend into new construction home design!
Using different tile tones and textures can enhance the design of a home. A patterned kitchen backsplash or a beautifully tiled bathroom floor immediately takes a home a step above. Pink is trending now but can be so much fun for years to come.
Geoscapes in color First Lady Pink is perfect for new home construction. This tile has a fun texture called Wabi-sabi, which is the perfectly imperfect look.
It comes in different shapes like subway tile, diamond, hex, and chevron. This retro hue ties in home designs like Midcentury Modern and Cottage Core with a modern twist. I love this tile in a secondary bath, She-Shed, or kitchen backsplash to add a multi-dimensional look.
A more subtle splash of pink could be Color Field in Pink Velvet—perfect for a spa-like bathroom. This pink is more a whisper, great for designers who don't want to use a bright pink color.
What’s better than cozy warm carpet under your feet in the morning? Pink carpet! We offer a variety of luxurious carpet styles in many patterns and colors, including trending pink shades.
Designing with color might seem intimidating — we often steer towards neutrals and design around those easy shades. Selecting a bolder flooring color can be a fun challenge, often resulting in more compliments!
To achieve this challenge, I recommend Victoria Falls in color Sweet Pink by Anderson Tuftex. This luxe chevron is chic enough to be wearable fashion!
Try incorporating accent décor in blush, bashful and full-on magenta colors in your spaces. You can make a statement with Viva Magenta. It is Pantone's 2023 Color of the Year. Use it on an accent wall or a revamped furniture piece. Our Color Field tile in shade Jewel hits this hue spot on in hexagons, subway and diamond shapes. Pink and white gingham in accessories like throw pillows are a classic and easy non-committal pattern as well.
Builder Acadiana in LaFayette, LA, designed this pink bathroom perfectly in this charming St. Jude Dream Home® Giveaway, with the right touch of pink accents.
There are so many ways to play with pink when designing dream homes! Incorporating distinct color when designing a model home is ideal for creating that memory point and ah-ha moment for buyers or renters.
