After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in design from U.C. Davis, Christine Slaughter went on to work for high-end interior design firms, retailers, developers and builders. Christine joined Shaw Industries in 2007 and is the national director of marketing and design. She has been featured on HGTV, multiple podcasts, and flooring blogs and has been published in various builder newsletters and magazines. While she’s not traveling the U.S. sharing her knowledge, insight, and love of design and flooring, you can find her spending time in Northern California with her husband, two daughters, and their Goldendoodle, Gus.

Kristy has been working in design for over 20 years in the builder/new construction space and interior design. She loves building trusting relationships with clients and creating spaces that speak to their personal style. A favorite part of her job is working closely with designers and infusing them with excitement for products and how they fit into the current design world. She enjoys traveling the world with her family and drawing design inspiration from various cultures. She enjoys playing golf and is currently learning Italian.

Leslie brings nearly ten years of experience in the new home industry in the Dallas area before joining Shaw, having worked for some very prominent and successful flooring contractors. She loves all things design related and is happiest when she’s out in the field building relationships with customers and helping them find the perfect design for every client to create their dream home. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her furbaby, Sadie, and is an avid athlete, competing in multiple Spartan races yearly. Leslie is also an extremely accomplished baker - her cake designs are Food Network-worthy.

Tracy Daves has been with Shaw Builder + Multifamily since 2005. She has been featured on HGTV’s Smart and Green Homes and Lifetime’s Designing Spaces. Her design work has also been featured in House Beautiful, Multifamily Insiders, Southern Voyager and Floor Covering Weekly. Passionate about interior design, style and trends, Tracy loves traveling and meeting with home builders, property managers and designers to create the perfect space for every client and their customers. In her free time, she enjoys family time with her husband and children on their homestead.

Mindi’s professional journey has always centered around design and flooring. She began her career 23 years ago at a retail flooring store, working with residential and commercial builders, designers, and homeowners to achieve their perfect space. Her journey with Shaw began in 2018 when she accepted a territory manager role with the Specialty Markets division. A few years later, she transitioned into an interior design and marketing role, which allowed her to focus on her passion--design. She most enjoys the creative process of working one-on-one with customers on color trends that enable them to achieve their desired vision. Her mission is to provide the best customer experience by building trusting relationships. She finds design inspiration while traveling locally and anywhere she can put her toes in the sand. As a Midwest mother of three whose Indiana roots run deep, she spends her spare time with family and friends, decorating, gardening, and traveling.
