- As the Director of Design and Marketing for Shaw Floors on the East Coast for 14 years, Tracy is a time -juggling wife, mom, designer, and chicken lady that travels extensively chatting up designers.
Spring is in the air! It’s a great time for you to meet Sara Harris, Creative Director and Consultant to Children's Discovery Center.
She is also a co-author of Inspiring Spaces for Young Children and the accompanying rating scale R.O.S.I.E.

She is a commercial designer that always tries to look at elements and finishes within an environment for purpose and inspirational qualities. "Looking at materials in a new way, using them as a backdrop to highlight featured items, and positioning them so that they make the most impact are all part of how design comes together" says Sara.
Living walls, natural light, hardwood on the ceiling, concrete counters, timeless natural stones, glass, metal, water features all speak to Sara and her esthetic.
